Vincent Amponsah
Chief Operating Officer

Vincent Amponsah is a seasoned banker, management consultant, and trainer with more than twenty-six (26) years of experience across banking, microfinance, business development, operational planning, and school management. Prior to his current role, Vincent held several strategic leadership positions, including Head of Business, Head of Corporate Planning and Strategy, and Programme Director of the IDP Rising Schools Programme — a microfinance programme that supports low-income private schools through capacity building and access to finance.

Vincent has spearheaded growth initiatives, branch expansion, operational transformations, and the development of customer-centric financial products that confer a competitive advantage. His expertise encompasses operational planning, performance assessment, budgeting, business analysis, microfinance operations, and institutional development. He has also led and facilitated trainings and business development workshops for over 2,500 school owners in Ghana and 1,200 in Kenya.

Academically, Vincent holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Finance, a Postgraduate Certificate in Business Administration, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. 

About Sinapi Aba

Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans is a new company born out of Sinapi Aba Trust. It is a Non-Banking Financial Institution licensed under the Non-Bank Financial institutions Act 2008(Act 774), authorized to carry on the business of Savings and Loans on the 28th of March, 2013 in Ghana. All loan and savings activities that were previously managed by the Trust are new under the care of the savings and loans company.
